Understand the structure and function of the bio/psycho/social being and the effects of pathology on the human body as they relate to wellness, disease, disorders, therapies, care and rehabilitation.

Learning Targets

1. List the organs and divisons of the nervous systems and describe the generalized functions of the system as a whole
2. Identify the major types of cells in the nervous system and discuss the function of each
3. Draw and label a multi-polar neuron, and discuss how each of the neurons parts play a roll in carrying "the message" 
4. Compare and contrast the speed and transmission between a myelinated neuron versus and unmyelinated neuron.
