Hello Students!!  Happy Wednesday!!!! Half way through our short week!!

Good thing you are looking at the blog today. There are some helpful hints for the quiz tomorrow. See below!!

Classtime

Review of page 7 labeled diagram
Lecture/power points on layers of the brain
Reviewed for Quiz tomorrow on Action Potential and Synapse.
:reflex arc is NOT on the quiz

A few; not all the things, you will want to know
1) At least 2 neurotransmitters and what their function is

2) be able to put in order the steps of the action potential 1-10 if 1 is resting membrane potential and 10 is Na/K pump pushing the NA+ back out of the cell to make it more negative thus returning to a resting membrane potential

3)Know what the graded potential, action potential is, how they affect the neuron's action.

4) What the all or none theory means

5) Significance of a threshold

6) know what resting membrane potential is and the charge of the cell during this time.
