Use of Ophthalmoscope
Review of Homework page 4 and 5
Review for Test on Wednesday.
For those of you not here today. I would study ALL of your notes from this section. Make sure you pay attention to the following as well as what is in your notes.
Be familiar with your receptors and what they do: IE chemo, mechan etc
Know the structure of your layers, Sclera, Choroid and Retina, what is important in each layer
Know the function of each structure
Know the difference between macula and fovea
Make sure you know the difference between the Cavities and Chambers in the eye
Know your disorders of the eye, ones that cause you to loose central vision, cross eye, nearsightedness/myopia, farsightedness/hyperopia, presbyopia.
Is Presbyopia different from Myopia/nearsightedness?
Do you know that Cataracts can be caused from exposure to UV rays of the sun!!!!!
Do you know that the extrinsic muscle are attached to the sclera!!!
Know the process of how light travels through your eye.
