Know the name for the sensory receptor located at the beginning of each semicircular canal and give the name of the structure it is housed in

Do you know the purpose of the Eustachian tube and what is its role in otitis media

If you were unsure of the process of hearing, where it started and ended, you may want to know for tomorrow.

Make sure you know the diseases of the ear, if they are conduction or nerve impairments and why it falls into that category

For those of you not here today. I would study ALL of your notes from this section. Make sure you pay attention to the following as well as what is in your notes.

Be familiar with your receptors and what they do: IE chemo, mechan etc
Know the structure of your layers, Sclera, Choroid and Retina, what is important in each layer
Know the function of each structure
Know the difference between macula and fovea
Make sure you know the difference between the Cavities and Chambers in the eye
Know your disorders of the eye, ones that cause you to loose central vision, cross eye, nearsightedness/myopia, farsightedness/hyperopia, presbyopia.
Is Presbyopia different from Myopia/nearsightedness?
Do you know that Cataracts can be caused from exposure to UV rays of the sun!!!!!
Do you know that the extrinsic muscle are attached to the sclera!!!
Know the process of how light travels through your eye.
Some terminology you may want to know
        Accommodation
        Refraction
        Convergence
        Nasolacrimal Duct

Bonus - Do you know the instrument to measure eye pressure?

Study for your test on Wednesday, You should have all the resources you need to study.  You have notes, and your study guide.  Remember to look over all the notes.  Not all questions come from the study guide.  It was a guide ...remember

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS on the test. 

Make sure you know the difference of the presynaptic and postsynaptic of the neuron. 

You will want to be able to distinguish the difference between a Ganglion in the PNS and a Ganglion in the ANS. 
          -What does the ganglion in the PNS house
          -Where is the ganglion in the ANS, what else is it referred to as

You will want to be able to describe the relationship of  dermatones and shingles 
          - you will want to know how a person gets shingles
          - where they lay dormant
          - the relationship with dermatones/spinal nerves.
