                         Central Nervous System: Brain and Spinal Cord (afferent / efferent neurons)
                          Peripheral Nervous System: Somatic vs Autonomic
                                                                      : Autonomic = Sympathetic and Parasympathetic
                         Neuroglia "Glia" Cells  : Characterics and Function of
                                     -CNS  = satellite and schwann cells
                                     -PNS  = oligodendrocytes, microglia, astrocytes, ependymal cells
                         Neuron: characteristics of a neuron
                                     : main parts of a neuron



Study for Quiz on Tuesday, Oct 7, 2014
                  :Vocab words
                  :CNS and PNS,  be able to chart the systems function and effectors
                  : do you understand the difference between afferent neurons and efferent neurons, what
                     are there "jobs"?
                  : What are the characteristics of a neuron?
                  : we know that we have 2 types of cells that make up the NS, what are they and
                     how do they differ?
                  :the axon and dendrites have different roles, do you know them?

Review of Muscular Test: by Wednesday October 8th, 2014
Option to retake the muscular manekin diagram. If you want to retake it, you need to come to me so we can go over the diagram and then you will take a different numbered identification test just on the manekin. NOTE: this is the grade that will count for the identification portion of the test.
