Jan 30-31st Prepare for Clinicals
Feb 1-2 Legal and Ethical
Feb 5th : First day of Clinical


CPR Practicum dates Feb 3, 9 am only if you not signed up. If you did not sign up for February 3rd originally it is full and you cannot just show up.

CPR Certfication: This needs to be done prior to coming in for Practicum CPR, you need to PRINT your CERTIFICATE 

1. Please log onto   http://cpr.heart.org/AHAECC/CPRAndECC/Training/HealthcareProfessional/BasicLifeSupportBLS/UCM_473189_Basic-Life-Support-BLS.jsp

2. Choose HeartCode BLS

3. You will do this on your own, at home and print out certificate when completed. It will cost you $28.50.

4. Sign up for 1 of the following dates. You will come here for a skills test and that will take about 3 hours. Jan  22 - after finals, Jan 23 after finals, Jan 27,  9 am or Feb 3, 9am

Tuesday Classtime:
Quiz on legal and ethical
Legal and Ethical case studies: Those that were not present in class, they are in your mailboxes and will need to be completed by Friday, typed and printed.
Information should reflect the knowledge of the reading material given to you on Monday and your responses should be in full sentences, clear and concise

Tuesday Homework:
review legal and ethical paperwork

Wednesday and Thursday  Homework:
Read over internship packet
write down any questions or clarifications you need

Competencies we are covering this week

Competency # 5.
