Understand the structure and function of the bio/psycho/social being and the effects of
pathology on the human body as they relate to wellness, disease, disorders, therapies, care and
rehabilitation.
Competency 2
Understand the fundamentals of wellness and prevention of disease processes to practice and
education for preventative health behaviors among clients'
Learning Targets
1. Demonstrate muscle attachment sites, fiber direction and how these determine a muscles movement.
2. Relate how bone markings are specific to a type of muscle attachment
3. Identify specific muscles and muscle groups
4. I can state the functions of the muscular system.
